How Grades Will Work
  
Essays, 62.5%     Essay #1 = 75 points
     Essays #2-4 = 25 points for your proposal (more details to come – essays 2-3 only)
                         50 points for the rough draft
                         100 points for the final draft*
     Essay #5 = 50 points
*Anyone who has perfect attendance will be writing a half-length final essay
 
In-Class Writing Activities, 17.5%
Journals= 50 points
Reading responses (5)= 25 points (5 each) 
Writing Center Workshop = 100 points
 
Reading Analysis, 10%
Moodle posts (3) = 75 points (25 each)
Leading Class Discussion = 25 points
 
Attendance, 10% = 100 points
 
There will be opportunities coming up for extra credit, which will vary based on the assignment. I'll
announce these in class and on Moodle as they come up.
